Traffic Lights
Overview
Traffic Lights is a two-player board game that was invented by Alan Parr in 1985.

Board

Traffic Lights is played on a 3x3 or 3x4 board.

Objective

The goal of Traffic Lights is to complete a line (horizontal, vertical or diagonal) of three stones of the same color.

Play

The game begins with an empty board.

Players take turns, doing one of the following:

  • place a red stone in an empty cell;
  • replace a red stone already on the board with an orange one;
  • replace an orange stone already on the board with a green one.
